We had an experience last night that I really really loved!!. We met a
man named Fransisco and he was really fun to talk to- kind of
sarcastic and easy going. I felt how important that moment was- this
was Christ offering this man a chance to accept salvation! The spirit
helped me and sister Anderson teach clearly and to love this brother a
lot. He told us he was feeling the spirit before we even asked him how
he felt! I feel that someone is waiting and searching and praying for
the gospel to come into their lives. I'm sure it is this way in every
area because God has said that He is preparing the hearts of His
children to receive this message- but now I feel my faith is stronger
and more clearly founded in Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for this.
One day this week we were driving to an appointment and I saw a little
yellow home and felt like we needed to go and visit whoever lived
there. I wrote down the address and then a little later Hermana
Anderson said that she wanted to go and visit a certain house we had
passed earlier that day- it was the same house! When we got there I
realized it was also a house someone had referred to me last transfer.
I just knew this family was going to accept the gospel. We knocked on
the door and Julia answered the door. We found out she has been
praying for guidance in her life and has been searching for a church
to join. I know God heard her prayers and sent us to her door. We have
a lesson scheduled with her tonight and I just pray that she will
choose to act on the things she will learn from the spirit.
I know that if we pray to know truth God will tell us by the power of
the Holy Ghost what is true and what is not. I know this church is
true. I am so grateful for my Savior I need Him so much! The more I
learn about Him the more I learn that I can trust Him and depend on
His perfect strength and His perfect love. I invite you all to pray to
know that Christ is our Savior and look for the answer you will get.
It is so precious to me!
Love y'all.
